The Designer
Each treasure is created by Kendria Thompson, a self-taught metalsmith who transforms raw stones and precious metals into unique adornments. Designed to make you feel confident & grounded, these pieces carry the energy of the earth and an artisan's touch. Whether you’re drawn to bold statement rings or shimmering gemstone accents, Kendria's work is made to be worn with pride and cherished for years.
Founded in 2012 in Richmond, VA, Solid Treasures has been involved in the arts across Tucson, San Diego. Kendra's journey began with beaded and wire work, but in 2015, she ventured into metalsmithing, a craft that has since become a lifelong passion. While she specializes in one-of-a-kind, hand-fabricated creations, Kendria also incorporates cast pieces based on her unique designs, making each work a true expression of her creative vision.

From Rough to Polished
For some pieces, the journey extends to the lapidary arts, where I meticulously cut and shape gemstones, which adds a layer of complexity and uniqueness to my work. These particular gems are called Poseidon Variscite.
All scrap metal gets utilized. Each piece that is born from the remnants of its predecessors stands as a testament to the beauty that can emerge from mindful craftsmanship and the dedication to a minimal-waste philosophy.
